NewsMaker™ Module

The optional Atlas NewsMaker™ Module (formerly News & Events Module) serves as the central location for the management of content related to news and events functions in Workcenter. Here, articles and categories are defined to provide scheduled news and events listings to the pages that subscribe to them. It features two main areas, Article List (Live) for managing live article content, and Article List (Staged) for managing article content that has been modified but not yet published live.

This is made possible through the coordination of the NewsMaker Module and its extremely versatile function tags including Article List and Article Display. Working together, they allow users to produce and display article listings for pages in seemingly endless combinations of appearance, function and order. They also work in conjunction with the optional GateKeeper, RSS ReadWrite, and ContentCompass modules to provide additional functionality.
