LDAP Director™ Module

The optional Atlas LDAP Director™ Module serves as the central location for the management of LDAP functions in Workcenter Here, server profiles may be defined to serve as references for site and system access information.

Once established, an LDAP server definition can be used in conjunction with the Atlas User Manager and optional GateKeeper module to define access to internal resources (Atlas Workcenter itself) and live site pages (those protected by the optional Atlas GateKeeper module).

LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) directory service is a TCP/IP-based directory access protocol. It is considered the standard solution for directory services in Internet-based networks.
